If you're looking for a chocolate shop in Edinburgh, you'll find one of the city's largest and most unusual selections of chocolate just off the Royal Mile. The Chocolatarium Chocolate Shop is free to visit, open every day from 10am to 5pm, and welcomes everyone, whether you're taking one of our chocolate experiences or simply looking for something delicious to take home.
Located on Cranston Street in Edinburgh's Old Town, we're just a few steps from the Royal Mile, making us the perfect stop while exploring the city between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Of course, many people visit after enjoying one of our chocolate experiences to buy their favourite chocolates again, but you're equally welcome to pop in while exploring Edinburgh's Old Town.

One of the things that makes our chocolate shop different is the range of small artisan chocolate makers we support.
Before any chocolate makes it onto our shelves, our team tastes it. In fact, we've sampled and rejected around three times as many chocolate bars as we actually stock. We're constantly trying new makers and new flavours to make sure every product deserves its place.
Many of these chocolates come from small independent producers whose products aren't widely available across the UK. Many can only be purchased from The Chocolatarium or through our online shop.
